Rent-A-Center Supports 100 Black Men of South Florida

MIAMI--()--Rent-A-Center, Inc. (NASDAQ/NGS: RCII), today presented 12 laptop computers and $5000 to the 100 Black Men of South Florida.

The computers will support digital literacy and after-school activities in collaboration with The Fountain of New Life, a non-denominational, multi-cultural church. The church, located in Miami Gardens, is led by Pastor Wayne Lomax, a member of the 100 Black Men of South Florida.

Tied to an initiative dubbed "Random Acts of Caring," the support recognizes the important work undertaken by the preeminent African American male mentorship organization.

"The contributions of the 100 Black Men to South Florida are immeasurable," said Rent-A-Center Vice President Xavier Dominicis. "It’s gratifying to partner with an organization of this caliber."

Today’s Random Act of Caring marks the 81st act undertaken since Rent-A-Center launched the initiative in 2008 to support the communities it serves.
