Eagle Creek Software Services Opens New Project Center in North Dakota

Expansion provides enhanced alternative to offshoring for enterprise software development

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.--()--Eagle Creek Software Services, the largest United States-based systems integration company specializing in Oracle CRM, business intelligence and enterprise software development, announced the opening of a new project center in Valley City, N.D. to support new growth and further increase service levels to clients. The company offers a cost-effective alternative to offshoring.

The new facility is Eagle Creek’s third U.S.-based project center and employs 100 staff members. Eagle Creek’s decision to locate its new project center within the United States is based on its Dakota model of doing business, which places the company’s facilities onshore but outside major, higher cost metropolitan areas. The Dakota model also relies on a public-private strategic alliance between the company and the state governments of North Dakota and South Dakota to help train and recruit the company’s staff to these states.

“The opening of Eagle Creek’s new project center in Valley City is a testament to North Dakota’s positive business climate and the company’s forward-leading position within the software consulting and technical services industry,” said North Dakota Gov. Jack Dalrymple. “Eagle Creek continues to be a valuable partner in our state’s economic growth, and this new facility will enhance the company’s presence in North Dakota and its impact not only on Valley City, but the entire state.”

Eagle Creek is the only onshore Oracle partner managing the implementation, integration and modification, upgrade, training and support on Oracle Siebel CRM and Oracle CRM on Demand, including other business intelligence, data warehousing and application development technologies and projects. Its Dakota model provides an attractive alternative to using offshore service providers by offering improved communications and industry experts with a better understanding of North American and industry requirements, to produce higher quality work in less time than many offshore-based vendors. Traditionally, Eagle Creek’s project teams can complete a major project in half the time of an offshore vendor.

“Our new project center illustrates the demand we experience in being the largest U.S.-based consulting company specializing in CRM, BI and corporate software development,” said Ken Behrendt, president of Eagle Creek.
