Homebuilder Breaks Ground In New Neighborhood Rounding Out Successful Year

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Grand View Builders closes 2011 with a year-over-year growth of 125 new homes throughout the Houston, Dallas, and Austin areas, an increase of 22% from 2010. The execution of two successful programs presented the business with a unique opportunity for growth: a rarity for many others competing in the homebuilding industry in the current economic climate. In 2011, Grand View Builders executed the Build On Your Lot program that gives homebuyers the opportunity to customize their dream home at a locale of their choice. In addition, Grand View Builders launched the Building for Bastrop program, creating homes within 90 days for victims of the Central Texas Wildfires.

Grand View Builders was involved in giving back to the community this year through their partnership with HomeAid Care, a Greater Houston Builders Association charity. Grand View Builders helped to build a 600-square-foot storage unit for Montgomery County Youth Services, freeing living space for homeless and runaway kids to use for daily activities. Grand View Builders also continued to grow their dedicated staff this year, adding ten new employees throughout 2011, thus creating new jobs for local residents.
