SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Big Fish Games, Inc. today announced that it has appointed David Stephenson as chief financial officer, following more than 20 years of senior financial and operational leadership at Amazon.com and Procter & Gamble.
Dave’s responsibilities at Big Fish include oversight of worldwide strategic and business planning and finance operations. “Dave’s experience, values and performance orientation make him an excellent cultural fit for Big Fish,” said Jeremy Lewis, Big Fish chief executive officer and president. “His demonstrated track record of leading operational finance teams focused on large and complex consumer markets aligns incredibly well with our business and our plans for extending our operations, brand and product offerings across multiple platforms and geographies.”
Dave joins Big Fish after eleven years at Amazon.com, most recently as vice president of finance for the company’s $15 billion North American Retail division, encompassing physical and digital merchandise, and financial oversight of subsidiaries including diapers.com and MyHabit.com. Earlier positions included vice president of finance for the Merchant Services division and finance director for Amazon Web Services. In addition to the core controllership responsibilities for these businesses, Dave played significant roles in the Mom and Student Prime subscription programs, launching the Marketplace business in China, and leading the pricing analysis for Amazon Web Services. Prior to Amazon, Dave spent nine years with Procter & Gamble, where he focused on global strategic planning and new business development within multiple P&G business lines.
