Florida Obstetric and Gynecologic Society Installs Bruce, Breit MD as President

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--()--Bruce Breit, MD was installed as President by the Florida Obstetric and Gynecologic Society (FOGS) at the organization’s annual meeting, Pathways to Clinical Excellence in Ob/Gyn, held August 12–14 at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek Hotel.

As President, Dr. Breit will provide leadership for the nonprofit association, which represents more than 1000 physician and resident members in Florida and provides continuing education for healthcare professionals to advance patient care in the realm of women's health.

Dr. Breit is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and serves as Vice President of Women’s Care Florida in Winter Park where he has been on staff since 1988. He is the former Chief of Staff for Obstetrics and Gynecology at Winter Park Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Breit is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, where he serves as the regional representative for Region 7 to the Florida Section.

After receiving his undergraduate degree from Brandeis University, Dr. Breit received his medical degree and post-graduate training from the Medical College of Virginia.
