Crédit Agricole CIB Announces Appointments of Two Directors in Its New York-Based Loan Syndication Group

Jean-Michel Fatovic, 20-Year Industry Veteran, to Focus on US Corporate and Leveraged Markets

Federico Fiorentini, 15 Year Veteran, to Focus on Syndicated Loans in Latin America

NEW YORK--()--Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Crédit Agricole Group’s corporate and investment banking arm, today announced the appointments of Jean-Michel Fatovic and Federico Fiorentini as Directors in the Loan Syndications Group in New York City. Mr. Fatovic will be responsible for the distribution and trading of loans with a focus on the US Corporate and Leveraged market. Mr. Fiorentini will be responsible for the origination and structuring of syndicated loans in the Latin American market.

Mr. Fatovic, with more than 20 years experience in bank financing and loan syndications, previously was with Standard Chartered Bank PLC, where he was responsible for underwriting, managing and trading a portfolio of US loans. At Crédit Agricole CIB, Mr. Fatovic will report to Jeff Ferrell, Managing Director and Head of the Loan Syndication Sales and Trading for the Americas.

“Jean-Michel’s exceptional market depth and knowledge of the broadly syndicated US loan market will be a valuable addition to our loan syndication team,” said Mr. Ferrell.

Mr. Fatovic holds a BA in Mathematical Economics from Saint Peters College and an MBA in Finance from Fordham University.

Mr. Fiorentini has more than 15 years experience in the Latin American loan syndications market place. He was previously with HSBC where he was responsible for origination, structuring and distribution of syndicated loans for Latin American corporates and financial institutions. At Crédit Agricole CIB, Mr. Fiorentini will report to Jean-Philippe Adam, Managing Director and Head of the Loan Syndications Latin America.

Mr. Fiorentini holds a BA in Business Administration and Economics from Boston University’s School of Management.
