Called the SynapSense Power Suite, the new tools include the SynapSense P3 SmartPlug™ and SmartLink™ that optimize energy loads, reduce stranded power and identify in real-time available power and cooling capacity.
The SynapSense P3 Smartplug is a server/networking/storage replacement power cord with built-in wireless energy metering capabilities that automatically connects to the SynapSense wireless network. SmartLink devices connect to a data center’s smart PDUs (Power Distribution Units) and replace the IP backhaul, providing rack- and plug-level power information from most major PDU vendors. Both of these products offer SynapSense Environmental Monitoring, enabling low-cost data center visibility, optimization and resiliency.
