FUEL TV Renews “The Moto: Inside The Outdoors”

Season 3 Premieres Saturday, September 10, and Features 2011 Contenders Chad Reed, Ryan Dungey and Ryan Villopoto

LOS ANGELES--()--FUEL TV (www.fuel.tv), Fox Sports Media Group’s dynamic entertainment and sports network for young males, renews its acclaimed original docu-series The Moto: Inside The Outdoorsfor a third season scheduled to premiere Saturday, September 10 at 6:00PM ET/3:00PM PT, immediately following the final live Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship race of the season. After the Saturday premiere, the show moves to its regular day and time of Mondays at 9:30PM ET/PT, beginning September 12.

In this FUEL TV original production, award-winning motocross producer Troy Adamitis takes a raw look at one of the most grueling professional race series in the world, the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship. In each 30-minute episode of the 12-part series, “The Moto: Inside the Outdoors” features the world’s best motocross riders such as 2010 Champion Ryan Dungey, 2009 Champ Chad Reed, 2010 Supercross Champ Ryan Villopoto and Mike Alessi. With the exclusive access that Adamitis and his team has, every episode dives deeper into the motocross world, exposing the thankless labors of trainers and mechanics, as well as, family and friends serving as the foundation for these elite athletes.

The show follows their nomadic journeys on the road, on the track, under the tent, and in all weather to uncover the lives of men who compete for a living; hostile rivalries, brutal tracks, and a constant goal of mastering their body’s limitations. In this world, everything comes second to The Moto.

“We’re excited to bring back this visually stunning insider’s look at the motocross race season,” says George Greenberg, FUEL TV Executive Vice President and General Manager. “This show is a fan favorite that captures the characters, drama and excitement in a way that makes it accessible to a broad audience.”

"For season three we are producing 12 episodes, which is more than we’ve ever done,” says “The Moto: Inside The Outdoors” Producer Adamitis. “This is exciting because it allows our viewers to spend more time with the characters of our sport. We are so indebted to the riders, their families and teams for allowing us into their lives. Without this access, we would never be able to showcase how brutal and rewarding motocross can be."

The season-three premiere of “The Moto: Inside The Outdoors” is on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 6:00PM ET/3:00PM PT. Following episodes air on Mondays at 9:30PM ET/PT beginning September 12.
