AFS Technologies Releases CLOUD Version of Its Web Order Management System (OMS)

Support for Microsoft AZURE provides dynamic scalability, high availability and a true Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model

PHOENIX--()--AFS Technologies announced the launch of a CLOUD (AZURE) version of its industry-leading order management system (OMS), Web OMS. The web version of AFS Technologies’ order management system works with the Microsoft AZURE platform and provides remote sales reps and customers with the ability to access sales information from anywhere with Internet access. New enhancements are designed to provide scalability on demand, improve productivity and maximize order entry efficiency.

The AFS Web OMS solution provides instant scalability in the form of dynamic resource allocation and higher availability with improved fault-tolerance. In addition, cloud-based solutions are more effective at supporting a per-use fee structure instead of set monthly fees based on the hosted server cost. Traditional solutions require more physical server space to support additional resources and have a higher upfront cost, cloud-based solutions eliminate upfront costs altogether.
