State of North Carolina - Office of Administrative Hearing Awards a Contract to Implement a Case Management System to AMCAD

RALEIGH, N.C.--()--The North Carolina Office of Administrative Hearing (OAH) announced today that American Cadastre, LLC (dba AMCAD®) was awarded a contract for the implementation of a case management system (AiCMS). AMCAD was selected over seven other vendors by the County.

The Office of Administrative (OAH) presides in administrative law contested case and the purpose of the OAH is to provide a forum for a prompt impartial resolution of disputes between the citizens and state agencies. The OAH Hearing division main office is located in Raleigh with additional office in High Point and Charlotte.

AMCAD’s AiCMS system will automate the Office of Administrative Hearing operation, including case management, financial processing, scheduling, role-defined dashboards and document management. AiCMS also improves staff productivity and accountability, and further streamlines office workflow by sharing information throughout the Clerk’s operation. The AiCMS system utilizes the latest Microsoft .NET technology, providing the state with the ability to protect its investment in technology. The solution allows for remote access for the public to view case and calendar information. This unique access, provided only by AMCAD, saves thousands of manual work hours per year. The AMCAD project will be implemented in the State of North Carolina over the next 9 months.

“AMCAD is very excited to assist the State of North Carolina Administrative Office of Hearing with the implementation of a court case management system that features the electronic management of case records,” said Visagar Shyamsundar, AMCAD‘s Chief Executive Officer. “Our implementation team is fully committed to implementing a state of the art solution that will improve the office’s operations and provide better access and service to the people of the North Carolina.”
