PROVIDENCE, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ximedica, a full-service medical device product development firm, announced the opening of its regional office at the University Enterprise Laboratories (UEL) Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The new location marks the company’s third facility and will serve as a central hub for its healthcare client base in the Midwest. Ximedica maintains its corporate headquarters in Providence, Rhode Island and an office in Hong Kong to support its Asia supply-chain operations.

Employees representing multiple disciplines and vast expertise, such as industrial design, human factors, and engineering, will staff the facility and provide comprehensive integrated services from one locale. Bringing 18 years’ experience in product development for Fortune 500 medical companies, David Copeland, Director of Human Factors Industrial Design at Ximedica, will lead the Minneapolis office.
