CSC Teams with Panaya to Speed Client Upgrades of SAP Solutions

FALLS CHURCH, Va.--()--CSC (NYSE: CSC) today announced that it has formed a global agreement with Panaya Inc., a leading Software as a Service (SaaS) supplier of upgrade and testing automation software in support of SAP® solutions. An SAP partner for more than 30 years, CSC will adopt Panaya’s cloud-based simulation service as a standard technology for analyzing, planning and executing upgrades of SAP solutions and support package projects. In conjunction with CSC’s unique combination of business insight, technology leadership and SAP software expertise, this collaboration will further enhance CSC’s ability to deliver upgrades faster, while reducing client cost and risk.

CSC will leverage Panaya’s ability to simulate upgrades of SAP solutions, pinpointing which transactions and programs are used within their system, along with the possible risks associated with an upgrade, and will automatically fix most issues within 24 hours. Because the Panaya solution is delivered in a SaaS model, there is no capital expense required for the client to purchase software. Setup typically takes no more than 20 minutes.

CSC and Panaya are currently collaborating on client engagements in North America, United Kingdom, Brazil, Australia, Spain and Germany. Key services offered jointly by CSC and Panaya include:
