Acker Merrall & Condit Achieves US$3.49 Million in New York Auction

NEW YORK--()--Acker Merrall & Condit, the world’s premier wine auction house and America’s oldest fine wine merchant, today announced results from its April 21st auction of fine and rare wines, which totaled $3,498,106 and 97% sold.

“The market for fine and rare wine continues to gain strength as seasoned collectors and first time buyers recognize the potential of fine wine as both a significant investment opportunity and a source of great personal pleasure,” said John Kapon, CEO of Acker Merrall & Condit. “The success of our April auction confirmed these facts once again – and reaffirmed New York’s position as one of the world’s most important auction centers.”

In addition, we look forward to the re-launch of our website and several other exciting initiatives as we continue to provide our clients with unique access to and experience of the world’s finest and rarest wines.”
