Insyde® Software Announces InsydeH2OTM UEFI Firmware Shipping on the World’s Leading x86 Energy Efficient Server

SeaMicro’s SM10000-64™ Integrates 256 Intel® Atom™ Dual-core Processors

BEAVERTON, Ore. & TAIPEI, Taiwan--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Insyde Software, a leading provider of Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) firmware today announced that SeaMicro^TM is shipping InsydeH2O^TM in its new SM10000-64^TM energy efficient 64-bit x86 server. Comprised of 256 64-bit Intel® Atom™ dual-core processors in a 10 rack unit that is only 17.5" tall, SeaMicro's SM10000-64 internet optimized design, which uses InsydeH2O UEFI firmware, reduces power and space by more than 75 percent. The result is more compute per unit power and per unit space than any x86 server system built to date.
