ViewPLUS Introduces 4K 12bit RAW 60fps Workflow with ASSIMILATE SCRATCH

TOKYO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ViewPLUS, a leader in the development of advanced and high-quality digital imaging systems, today introduced the 4K 12bit RAW 60fps workflow with ASSIMILATE's SCRATCH(R) digital cinema and broadcast imaging tool at the 2011 NAB Show in Las Vegas, USA.

The new workflow achieves the 4K 12bit uncompressed RAW image manipulation in real-time at 60fps. ViewPLUS has selected SCRATCH as the primary 4K workflow solution for an upcoming new 4K camera called "ViewPLUS 4K". This workflow exploits the GPU-accelerated, real-time performance of SCRATCH, so no additional hardware or file conversion is required after recording. The solution includes a plug-in to SCRATCH's SPA plug-in architecture that enables the ViewPLUS 4K RAW file format.
