Ubisoft Unveils New Revolutionary Music Video Game Rocksmith™ at SXSW at Rocksmith™ Tour Bus

Hosts Demos of the First and Only Game to Allow Players to Plug in with Any Real Guitar at La Zona Rosa Venue This Week

For the first time, video game developer Ubisoft is holding demos of its new breakthrough music video game Rocksmith™ at premier music festival SXSW.

 

Rocksmith™ is the start of a new authentic music video game franchise that will revolutionize the music genre. Players can plug in any electric guitar with a standard ¼-inch input jack into an Xbox 360®, a PlayStation®3 or PC to play a sizeable library of the latest hits to classic jams from bands including The Rolling Stones, The Animals, David Bowie, Nirvana, The Black Keys and Interpol. Rocksmith™ also adapts to the player’s skill level from those who have never picked up a guitar to the most experienced guitarists. The game will launch in the second half of 2011.
