For the first time, video game developer Ubisoft is holding demos of its new breakthrough music video game Rocksmith™ at premier music festival SXSW. |

Rocksmith™ is the start of a new authentic music video game franchise that will revolutionize the music genre. Players can plug in any electric guitar with a standard ¼-inch input jack into an Xbox 360®, a PlayStation®3 or PC to play a sizeable library of the latest hits to classic jams from bands including The Rolling Stones, The Animals, David Bowie, Nirvana, The Black Keys and Interpol. Rocksmith™ also adapts to the player’s skill level from those who have never picked up a guitar to the most experienced guitarists. The game will launch in the second half of 2011. |
