Four New Jersey Women to Be Named in Honor of Their Courageous Battle against Cancer

5th Annual Beauty Foundation’s “Beauty Ball” Gala Held April 2nd At Trump National Golf Club

Proceeds to Alleviate Physical, Emotional and Financial Strains On Families Fighting Cancer

RED BANK, N.J.--()--Four New Jersey women will be honored for their extraordinary courage in fighting cancer at The Beauty Foundation’s 5th annual Beauty Ball on April 2, 2011 at Trump National Golf Club in Colts Neck, New Jersey.

The Beauty Foundation, a non-profit organization that serves to alleviate the physical, financial and emotional burdens patients and their families face while coping with cancer, will celebrate the strength and determination of its following honorees:

  • West Allenhurst resident, Phyllis Colicchio Berger, 54-year-old Red Bank Middle School teacher fighting breast cancer
  • Toms River resident, Rebecca Leifert, 21-year-old college student of Ocean County College fighting Hodgkin’s Lymphoma
  • East Brunswick resident, Tammy Lippert, 37-year-old single mom fighting breast cancer
  • Colts Neck resident, Amber Marchese, 33-year-old mother of four who is now cancer free

The Beauty Foundation will also recognize Rumson resident, Mr. Warren Diamond and Red Bank resident, Mrs. Beth Stavola for their philanthropic contributions to women and families fighting cancer. Both honorees have been affected by the disease, and are now generously devoting their time and effort to support families coping with this illness. “We are thrilled to honor these inspirational women who embody our foundation’s mission of empowerment and strength in their fight against cancer,” said Krista Olsen Dibsie, co-founder of The Beauty Foundation, which is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those suffering from the disease by offsetting expenses not typically covered by insurance. “We are thrilled to honor these incredible women whose uplifting stories will empower others who are battling cancer.”

Now in its fifth year, The Beauty Ball is The Beauty Foundations’ largest annual fundraising initiative. The Beauty Ball will take place on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Trump National Golf Club in Colts Neck, N.J. at 6:30 p.m. The event will include an evening of dancing and casino action, with cocktails and food served throughout the night. ABOUT THE BEAUTY FOUNDATION

The Beauty Foundation is a 501 C3 non-profit organization that supports and empowers families who are actively fighting cancer through direct monetary grants to offset the expenses which aren’t covered under insurance, including child care, household expenses, transportation costs associated with treatment and other needs from lifestyle changes as a direct result of cancer treatment. The Beauty Foundation also supports the development of educational materials and provides support to local cancer centers. Our goal is to help inspire courage, strength and confidence that is needed to fight cancer.
