First Republic Bank Expands Capabilities to Entertainment Industry

Senior Bankers Join Century City Office

SAN FRANCISCO--()--First Republic Bank, a leading provider of private banking and wealth management services, today announced the appointment of two entertainment bankers with significant experience serving the financial needs of film and television companies.

Melanie Krinsky, who has 30 years of banking experience, was named Managing Director and Head, Film and Media Finance. Mandie Rush, who also has 30 years of banking experience, was named Managing Director, Film and Media Finance. Krinsky and Rush will focus on offering specialized lending, deposit and wealth management services to film and television production companies and business management firms.

First Republic’s expanding presence in the entertainment business includes the recent opening of a Brentwood office and the hiring of teams of bankers and wealth management professionals throughout Southern California. First Republic has long-term relationships with many business managers, entertainment lawyers, talent agencies, industry publicists and creative artists in Los Angeles and New York.

Prior to joining First Republic, Krinsky worked for Bank Leumi in Beverly Hills as First Vice President and Manager. Prior to that, she worked in the entertainment divisions of Mercantile National Bank in Century City, California United Bank in Beverly Hills and City National Bank. Krinsky has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

Rush worked for Bank Leumi in Beverly Hills as Vice President in its entertainment group before joining First Republic Bank. Prior to that, she worked in the entertainment divisions of Mercantile National Bank in Beverly Hills, California United Bank and the Bank of California. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business/Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an MBA in Finance from the University of Oregon. Rush is Chairman of the Board of SHARE Inc., and member of the advisory board of the Young Musicians Foundation.

Krinsky and Rush are located at First Republic’s office at 1888 Century Park East in Century City. They will also work with their New York clients through First Republic’s offices in Manhattan and Greenwich, Connecticut.
