Algebraix Data Awarded Fifth Patent in Data Management

SAN DIEGO--()--Algebraix Data Corporation today announced that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has awarded the company patent number 7,865,503 for systems and methods for data storage and retrieval using virtual data sets. This patent covers the methodology that enables Algebraix Data’s Advanced Analytic Database (A2DB) to store and access data using virtual data sets created from algebraic relations between data sets in the data store.

Systems and methods for data storage and retrieval using algebraic relations are key competitive differentiators between A2DB and conventional data-management systems. ALGEBRAIX® is the first computer data-management technology to be devised with a rigorous mathematical foundation and represents a fundamental breakthrough in computer data management.

“This is our fifth patent protecting the company’s intellectual property used in A2DB,” said Charlie Silver, CEO of Algebraix Data. “Our mathematically based data-management technology is the only known technology that will meet all the requirements of the Cloud computing networks of the future.”
