This new product is now available for purchase on Digi-Key’s global websites and will be featured in future print and online catalogs.
The CMF20120D has increased the upper voltage limit of silicon MOSFETs (metal–oxide–semiconductor field-effect transistors--a device used for amplifying or switching electronic signals). The product features high-speed switching, low capacitances, and fast body diode, while being easy to parallel and simple to drive. This particular MOSFET allows for higher system efficiency, reduced cooling requirements, avalanche ruggedness, while it increase system switching frequency.
Applications for the CMF20120D include solar inverters, down-hole drilling equipment, and motor drives.
