Applico Announces Launch of Connected Services Division Focusing on Mobile Apps for Non-Phones

Mobile app specialist to focus on helping brands capitalize on new mobile app opportunities in tablets, TVs, cars and beyond.

NEW YORK--()--Applico, a mobile app company for Fortune 500 firms and consumer brands, today announced the launch of its Connected Services Division. The new department will specialize in mobile apps for devices beyond smartphones such as tablets, Internet-connected televisions, cars and other electronic devices.

“The Consumer Electronics Show earlier this month demonstrated that many opportunities for mobile apps exist on other devices in addition to the smartphone,” said Alex Moazed, CEO and President of Applico. “In the coming year, we expect to see a myriad of new tablets, TVs, cars and even household appliances all capable of running an app. Applico Connected Services will focus on helping our clients strategize, design, and develop apps that cater specifically to these products.”
