CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--In an unprecedented move, on June 19th BladeRoom USA is opening the doors of their leading edge modular data center to the public for an exclusive data center event through the 7 x 24 Exchange Lake Michigan Region Chapter.
Visitors will have the opportunity to tour a live BladeRoom Data Center and network with their industry peers at BladeRoom’s Head Office in Mount Prospect, IL; just 15 minutes from Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
Over the last 3 years, BladeRoom has delivered close to 40 BladeRoom Data Centers on 4 continents using rapid factory assembly to create permanent data center structures. Previously, tours of BladeRoom Data Centers were limited to only a few private tours of existing installations. On June 19th, visitors will have a chance to see the closely guarded technology that allows BladeRoom to achieve industry-leading PUEs as low as 1.1.
The showroom BladeRoom Data Center, known as the BladeRoom Technology Center, has been fitted out with IT racks and server emulating heaters. The data center operates in full automatic mode, with the cooling systems precisely matching the IT load within the data center. It uses a combination of free air, evaporative cooling or back up mechanical cooling depending on the outside air conditions.
