The vacuum is the brand’s first-ever fully detachable handheld hybrid model and, along with the world’s first Motion Sync Canister Vacuum (VC-F700G), will be showcased at the International Home + Housewares Show in Chicago, March 15-18, 2014 at booth L#11918.

Featuring a handheld vacuum that can be completely detached from the main body, the VU7000 upright vacuum allows consumers to easily clean hard to reach places with portable power. The handheld vacuum has its own motor for ultimate portability. When attached to the main body, the primary motor works to ensure deep cleaning; but when it’s time to clean corners, ceilings and stairs, the handheld easily detaches to operate as a separate vacuum with its own motor and dust cup. This makes it easier for the consumer to move around as its mobility is not restricted by a hose to the main body of the vacuum, a difficulty with traditional vacuums. It’s like getting two vacuums for the price of one, all at an excellent value.
Users benefit from both the VU7000 upright and the VC-F700G canister models’ revolutionary Motion Sync Design™, engineered so that the body swivels separately from the wheels to enable swifter, steadier and more stable control over movement. In the upright model, the design offers four degrees of freedom – up and down, and left and right – to make U-turns and S-turns possible and smooth. In particular, the body design of the canister model prevents the vacuum from tipping over and makes it easier to follow behind as the user moves around the house.
The vacuums also feature Samsung Cyclone Force Multi™, in which a series of small cyclonic chambers allows the vacuum to maintain suction power without clogging the filters. Even through extensive vacuuming sessions, consumers can clean with consistently powerful and long-lasting suction performance and the vacuum will maintain peak performance over a longer period of time.
The VC-F700G canister includes a built-in Remote Control Handle with fingertip controls, which make turning the vacuum on and off a snap, while allowing for quick changes to suction power levels without interrupting the cleaning routine. It also has smartly integrated, built-in attachments so that tools are not lost or left behind in the storage closet. A variety of accessories are available for the canister model to help consumers tackle any cleaning scenario, including a 12” Power Brush and pet accessory brush, as well as special tools like the furniture pro, window pro and stair pro. The vacuums also come with an easy to remove HEPA filter that removes over 99% of dust and particles, and is certified allergy and asthma friendly by the AAFA (Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America).
The Samsung Motion Sync upright vacuum (VU7000) comes in Titanium Silver and Refined Wine for an MSRP of $499. The Samsung Motion Sync Canister Vacuum with 12” Power Brush (VC-F700G) comes in Refined Wine for an MSRP of $449.
