The Grand Opening, will include 3 hours of activities, such as tours, food tastings, giveaways and a chance to meet tenant executives as well as local officials (such as Senator James Sanders Jr. and Senator Joseph Addabbo, Jr.). The day culminates with a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the official opening of this first of its kind Travel Plaza at a New York City airport. It allows visitors to park free, eat, drink and get a car wash while keeping track of arriving and departing flight monitors. The facility touts a world class food court, alternative fueling options and an auto-repair shop.
