Cardinal Bank Holds Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to Celebrate Opening of New Georgetown Banking Center

TYSONS CORNER, Va.--()--Cardinal Bank (NASDAQ: CFNL) recently marked the opening of its new banking center in historic Georgetown with a ceremonial ribbon cutting. Local business leaders, dignitaries and community representatives celebrated with bank officials at the office, located at 1825 Wisconsin Avenue, NW. The banking center officially opened for business August 5, and represents Cardinal’s second location in Washington, DC.

“We are delighted at the warm welcome we have received from Georgetown residents and businesses,” said Kate Carr, President, Cardinal Bank/Washington. “We value our relationships in every community we serve, and already have strong ties to the District. We are looking forward to developing relationships with our neighbors and demonstrating Cardinal’s brand of smart banking solutions and exceptional service,” Carr continued.

The ceremonial ribbon cutting included welcome remarks by D.C. Councilmember Jack Evans (Ward 2) and D.C. City Administrator Allen Lew. As a part of the grand opening festivities, and to underscore Cardinal’s commitment to local communities and charitable initiatives, Cardinal Bank President Kevin Reynolds presented a $1,000 donation check from the Cardinal Bank Community Fund to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington to benefit Cardinal’s new neighbor, the Jelleff Community Center.

The Georgetown banking office is open seven days a week: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM - 6 PM; Saturday 9 AM to 2 PM; and, Sunday 11 AM - 2 PM, with complimentary parking located in the rear of the facility. Cardinal Bank is slated to open a new banking center in Rockville, Maryland in the fourth quarter of 2013.
