CINCINNATI--()--It was a clean sweep at the ballpark this weekend as Bounty Select-A-Size kicked off their season-long partnership with the Cincinnati Reds, proving to baseball fans that one small sheet can tackle their biggest game-day messes. With the Bounty Clean Crew on-hand, the paper towel brand will be pitching in and cleaning up at every Reds home game, allowing fans to enjoy their favorite ballpark meal without the fear of the mess.

For the duration of the Reds season, forty Bounty Clean Crew members will be on-site to help clean up messes around the park. The partnership with Bounty will be heralded in a 15 second spot on the stadium’s video board. Fans at home can join in the messy fun and follow along with the Bounty Clean Crew on Bounty’s Twitter handle or by using the hashtag “#CleanSweep”.

To celebrate their partnership, Father’s Day and the fifth stop on their Select-A-Size tour, Bounty and the Reds hosted a contest to find the “Tastiest Ballpark Mess” at the Great American Ball Park. Cincinnati Reds second-baseman, Brandon Phillips, also helped bring fans in on the fun by partnering with Bounty on a special Father’s Day VIP experience which included a seat at the judges table. Lucky Reds fanatics Kyle S., Jenni O. and Nick H., along with a panel of hungry judges and Reds Hall of Famer, Lee May, enjoyed the tasty, yet messy fan favorites such as loaded nachos, hot dogs covered with chili, baked beans and Fritos and ice cream sundaes topped with delicious sauces. In the end, the ice cream sundae was crowned the winner, proving that sometimes the tastiest foods are the messiest.

“Between the nachos, Coney Dogs and sloppy Joes, we offer Reds fans a lot of tasty and messy options to help enhance their ballpark experience,” said Dave Collins of the Cincinnati Reds. “It only seemed natural that we would team up with the Bounty Clean Crew to keep our ballpark looking fantastic all season long.”

Thanks to “trap & lock technology” one sheet of Bounty Select-A-Size is 2X more absorbent than the Custom-Size-It ®* brand (5.5” X 11). To prove to food fanatics the strength and absorbency of one sheet, Bounty Clean Crews were wiping up messes, spills and keeping the ballpark beautiful all weekend long. There was also a fun photo opportunity in the fanzone that got everyone in the spirit.

“One of the best parts of going to a baseball game is the messy, delicious food,” said Laura Dressman, Bounty Communications Manager. “With Bounty Select-A-Size teaming up with the Cincinnati Reds, fans can be reassured that we’ll be there for the clean-up, whether in the stands or at home.”
