CINCINNATI--()--As the Presenting Sponsor of the Tournament of Roses® VIP Tailgate at the 2013 Rose Bowl Game®, Bounty Select-A-Size and Travel Channel’s Adam Richman kicked off the new year by proving to football fans everywhere that one small sheet can tackle their biggest game-day messes. For the second stop on their Bounty Select-A-Size tour, the paper towel brand and Richman scoured the premiere college football event for the messiest foods at the tailgate.

Teaming up with Richman, Bounty launched the search for the “Tastiest Tailgate Mess” pitting Wisconsin Badgers and Stanford Cardinal fans against each other. After searching the nation, Bounty invited ultimate Badgers fans, Chao Qi and Valerie Alexander and their tailgate dish of brats & cheese curds and Cardinal fan, Nancy Valenzuela and her tailgate dish of rib eye tacos with salsa and guacamole to flaunt their team pride and messiest dish! With a panel of hungry judges, Richman helped crown Chao Qi as the winner for their delicious dish, proving that sometimes the tastiest foods are the messiest.

“Between the chili, nachos and hotdogs – The Rose Bowl Game® is undoubtedly the messiest stop on our Select-A-Size tour,” said Adam Richman. “I’m glad to be in Pasadena showing football fans how they can get so much more out of one single sheet of Bounty Select-A-Size at their tailgate and in their home.”

Thanks to “trap & lock technology”, one sheet of Bounty’s Select-A-Size is 2X’s more absorbent* to hold fluids and lock in messes (*vs. the next leading national brand pick-a-size 11”x5.5”). To prove to food fanatics the strength of one sheet, Select-A-Size Clean Crews were on-site tackling the biggest messes at the tailgate – wiping up all of the spills and game-day messes. Product demonstrations also helped bring to life the absorbency and strength of each small sheet of Select-A-Size, and a fun photo opportunity got everyone in the football spirit.

“The Rose Bowl Game ® is the perfect example of a notoriously messy event on the Select-A-Size tour,” said Laura Dressman, Communications Manager for Bounty Paper Towels. “At each of these stops, we are demonstrating how Select-A-Size can truly tackle anything and proving that you can use less so that each roll goes even further.”

As part of the Select-A-Size Tour, Bounty also launched a Fan of the Week Program on Facebook to recognize their Select-A-Size loyalists. Each week, Bounty fans can submit photos showing how one small sheet of SAS helps them tackle their biggest messes for a chance to be featured on the Bounty cover photo and win a year supply of SAS.
