NEW YORK--()--Veteran recruiter Carrie Pryor, who built top management teams at the forefront of the Internet and wireless businesses, has opened Greenwich Harbor Partners to focus on finding game-changer executives in the interrelated worlds of entertainment, media and technology.

Pryor helped build teams which pioneered the wireless phone business and Internet, and has helped build the executive teams at start-ups through Fortune 100 companies. Her recruiting career spans two decades as partner at such firms as Spencer Stuart, Korn/Ferry, Ward Howell and most recently CTPartners.

“Game-changing companies need a game-changing approach to recruiting,” said Pryor. “Today’s unprecedented assignments require recruiters to find and attract people with unique talents. That takes broad experience the micro-niche firms lack combined with the high-level, high-touch service the big firms can’t afford.”

Greenwich Harbor Partners is designed for companies that aim to expand their platform, extend their reach or improve their performance. The firm removes the competing pressures that distract and detract big-firm recruiters from the focus on finding the ideal candidates for the kinds of unprecedented executive responsibilities that companies in transition generate. Specifically, there’s no internal squabbling over accounts, candidates or fee sharing; and there are far fewer off-limits companies.

Pryor has earned a reputation for longstanding client relationships with over 80% repeat clients and customer satisfaction survey rankings that far surpassed her peers. One reason is her background: She started her career in Silicon Valley on the R&D team at ROLM, worked in the venture group at Pacific Telesis and helped fund the rollout of the wireless and cable industries at Kidder, Peabody before moving to recruiting.

“Carrie does a superb job as a recruiter and business partner,” said Michael D. White, CEO of DIRECTV. “We value her strategic perspective. She has recruited several senior executives who have made an enormous positive contribution to our success. She is incredibly client responsive and tenacious in finding the right mix of skills and style to fit our organization.”

“The quality of Carrie’s work is high and has been both strategic and tactical for us,” said Cliff Friedman, Managing Partner Highbridge Principal Strategies/Constellation Growth Capital. “That’s why we have worked with Carrie for years and appointed her to our Advisory Board.

“Carrie has helped us with both Board Directors and several senior executives,” said Vince Sadusky, Chief Executive Officer of LIN Media,. “She has always worked hard and successfully to find us great candidates across multiple disciplines including digital media, sales and finance.”

Greenwich Harbor Partners is located at 330 Madison Avenue, New York, NY, 10017. For more information, please visit the website at www.greenwichhp.com.
