The combined companies, which will operate under the Azaleos brand, now have the technical support resources as well as East and West coast network operations centers necessary to support even the largest organizations. The new company’s customers include Chiquita, Alcon, Wendy’s/Arby’s, and Extended Stay. Azaleos also announced the immediate availability of ADXchange, a new monitoring and management service for Active Directory.
Leading research firms estimate the worldwide remote infrastructure services market at $20 billion at the close of 2008, and forecast it could grow to approximately $40 billion by the end of 2012. Additionally, they estimate that by 2012, 70% of all North American companies will have remote infrastructure service contracts.
The new company, which will be headed by the current Azaleos management team and retain most of the service, support, and professional services employees from both organizations, has the highest concentration of Exchange and Unified Communications expertise outside of Microsoft. Customers will now be supported by two network operations centers in the United States, one in Seattle and one in Charlotte. The combined companies will also continue to work with their existing reseller partners led by IBM Professional Services.
