LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Academy Award-winning sound professionals Lon Bender and Wylie Stateman announced today the launching of VocalStream™, an Internet audio production and distribution company supporting a web-based and targeted outbound communication strategy, for corporations, publications and political campaigns.
“VocalStream provides the industry’s first web-based multimedia solution that is designed to exclusively deliver client branded content,” says co-founder Lon Bender. “At its core, the VocalStream technology combines audio production with online delivery, effectively making any website an Internet broadcaster.”
VocalStream is also proud to announce the introduction of AudioBlast™, a client branded Adobe® Flash®-based player sent via email that supports custom produced multimedia content.
“Both VocalStream and AudioBlast technologies are designed to be invisible to the public,” Bender adds. “The VocalStream difference is that the visitor’s attention is continually focused at your website, your brand, product and message.”
VocalStream is the brainchild of Wylie Stateman and Lon Bender, who have dedicated their professional careers to developing and building feature film audio for such creatively stunning movies as “Blood Diamond,” “Grindhouse,” “Memoirs of a Geisha,” “JFK” and the Academy Award winner “Braveheart.”
This duo built Soundelux, the largest audio production company in the United States that has served as the audio birthplace for feature films, video games, theme parks and audio books. Bender and Stateman also founded The Hollywood Edge in 1986, a catalog of sound effects and design elements that has become a global standard.
Development of the VocalStream idea began in 1997 as Bender and Stateman saw an opportunity to be a part of the Internet’s future by improving access to information through a simple, customizable, stream-able multimedia online experience. Currently the company is targeting public and private companies, newsletters, political candidates and ballot initiatives. A detailed announcement of signings will be available soon.
“We believe that any important message can be enhanced, reinforced and made more interesting by having an audio component,” remarks co-founder Wylie Stateman. “The tremendous scope of this market is exciting. The mute button on the Internet is being clicked off.”
Interviews with members of the VocalStream team are available upon request. Additional information on VocalStream is available at www.vocalstream.com.
