The Global ISV Partner award winner is selected each year from among Microsoft's Global ISV Partners, a select group of organizations committed to delivering exemplary Microsoft Windows-based solutions to worldwide customers. A panel of Microsoft judges evaluated the companies' achievements in customer solution delivery and service, go-to-market initiatives and partnership effectiveness, and selected Quest Software.
The Windows Management group at Quest Software works closely with the Microsoft field organization and Microsoft product development groups to build, market and sell solutions that enhance Microsoft's Active Directory, Exchange Server and Windows Server management and migration solutions, as well as products for managing the Microsoft SQL Server environment.
"We are very honored to accept this award and are pleased to be recognized by Microsoft for our focused efforts to support the worldwide Windows community," said Ratmir Timashev, general manager, Windows Management, Quest Software. "Microsoft is not only the source of our customer base, but is also a great partner to work with, from tactical customer engagement activities all the way to strategic product relationships. We share a common goal in the proliferation of the Microsoft platform and ensuring a positive customer experience for those who rely on it."
"This award recognizes Quest Software's outstanding work with our field and product groups and its innovative approach to delivering software solutions that enhance the manageability of the Windows environment," commented Sanjay Parthasarathy, corporate vice president of Developer and Platform Evangelism for Microsoft. "Quest Software's dedication to quality is appreciated by our customers, and by Microsoft."
At the same conference, Microsoft also honored Quest Software with its Winning Customers Award in the category of Windows NT4 Migration Solution. This award recognizes Quest's work with the United States Army, a project that will migrate more than 500,000 users from Windows NT to Active Directory on Windows Server 2003. Army IT professionals turned to Quest Software for pre-migration planning and analysis, domain and user account migration, as well as for enhanced administration of the new Active Directory environment. With Quest's migration and management solutions, the U.S. Army will minimize end-user disruption during migration and maintain the security of its Windows infrastructure.
