In an effort to offer more quality food options at the stadium, Miami Dolphins President & CEO, Tom Garfinkel not only took to social media, but also sent direct communication to season ticket members this past summer to ask fans for what food they wanted during the 2014-2015 Dolphins games. “The fans were clear in their response, they wanted more local fare and more local flavors,” Director of Concessions & Retail Management Ben Metzger said. “BurgerFi is a perfect fit and we’re beyond excited to have them at Sun Life Stadium.”
BURGERFI opened its first restaurant in Lauderdale by the Sea in 2011. Since then, the burger concept has grown to 54 restaurants nationwide. “We are proud of our roots here in South Florida,” said Winograd. “Being the only all-natural burger option invited into the home of the Miami Dolphins is exciting to us. We owe it to our fans for giving us this opportunity.”

Miller has a strong Florida fan base, formerly playing for the Miami Heat, the Orlando Magic and his college team, the University of Florida.
