Main Event Entertainment Celebrates the Rio Grande Valley with Charitable Contribution and Local Celebrations
Company Donates $5,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Pharr, Hosts a Celebration August 16
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Main Event Entertainment, the fastest-growing family entertainment center in America, is celebrating its new center opening in Pharr, Texas, with a donation of $5,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Pharr. Doors opened today at the new center; and, to celebrate, the company will host a Grand Opening celebration for the local-area community in its new 58,000-square-foot center on August 16.

Main Event’s charitable contribution includes a financial gift of $2,500 and an additional $2,500 in goods and services for the local-area Boys & Girls Club. The charity will enjoy complimentary parties for the children, tweens and teens it serves throughout the months of August and September.

Main Event will host a Grand Opening celebration on Saturday, August 16, that will be open to the public. The company opened its doors to the public in Pharr on August 6, and guests can now enjoy its unique “Eat.Bowl.Play.” experience at 500 N. Jackson Road, at the corner of Expressway 83 and Jackson Road, next to Cinemark Pharr Town Center. The new center provides state-of-the-art bowling; multi-level laser tag; a gravity ropes adventure course; over 100 interactive, virtual and video games; regulation-size billiard tables; full-service bars; quality dining experiences and free Wi-Fi access.
As announced previously, the new location is the first of seven the company will open across the U.S. over the next seven months, and the first of two new centers it will open in Texas within that timeframe. Main Event will open another new center in West San Antonio later this year.
Main Event has locations throughout Texas, including Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, Lubbock and San Antonio.
