Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company Sponsors Disney’s Planes: Fire & Rescue July 15 Premiere
$25,000 Grant to be awarded to Los Angeles Fire Department as part of Heritage Program® 10th Anniversary
NOVATO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fireman’s Fund (www.firemansfund.com), the leading insurer of Hollywood films for more than 100 years, is pleased to announce it has been named financial services sponsor for the world premiere of Disney’s upcoming animated feature PLANES: FIRE & RESCUE, which takes place at Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre on July 15, 2014. The film hits theaters nationwide on July 18.

The new Disney film, featuring the voices of comedian Dane Cook, actor Ed Harris and “Modern Family” star Julie Bowen, showcases a dynamic crew of elite firefighting aircraft devoted to protecting historic Piston Peak National Park from raging wildfire. Fireman’s Fund understands that in reality, funding challenges have left many fire departments without adequate resources.
As part of the Heritage Program’s 10th anniversary, Fireman’s Fund will present a grant to the Los Angeles Fire Department at the film’s world premiere on July 15.

Funded by Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company, this Heritage Program grant is part of a nationwide philanthropic endeavor, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
