Jaguar Growth Partners Expands Investment Team and Adds Controller
Daniel Ho Joins as Principal, Winston Wilkinson as Senior Vice President, and Rowena Chin as Controller
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jaguar Growth Partners, a real estate private equity firm focused exclusively on global growth markets, announced today that it has added three new professionals to its growing team. Daniel Ho joins as Principal, Investments, Winston Wilkinson joins as Senior Vice President responsible for the firm’s institutional financial advisory activities, and Rowena Chin joins as Controller responsible for the firm’s accounting and financial reporting.

The proven expertise of these three new members will enhance Jaguar’s growing platform’s ability to source, structure, close and manage investments as well as provide ongoing financial transparency to the firm’s private and institutional partners.

Mr. Ho joins Jaguar from Fortress Investment Group in New York, where he was a Vice President with the firm’s real estate and credit funds and responsible for sourcing, underwriting and executing opportunistic and special situation real estate investments. At Fortress, he led and completed approximately $1 billion of investments across the capital structure. Prior to Fortress, Mr. Ho held various institutional real estate investment roles in the U.S. and Asia including as a Portfolio Manager with Voras Capital, a multi-strategy hedge fund, of which he was a founding member. Prior to that, he was an Executive Director with Morgan Stanley, where he co-established a principal real estate debt group based in Hong Kong. At Morgan Stanley, Mr. Ho also was a Vice President with the Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds based in New York and San Francisco. He also brings experience from working in real estate special situations at Och-Ziff Capital Management in Hong Kong, the Mergers and Acquisitions department at Salomon Smith Barney (Citigroup) in Hong Kong, as well as in the Real Estate Merchant Banking Group at Wells Fargo in San Francisco. Mr. Ho earned a B.S. from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and an M.B.A. from University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
Mr. Wilkinson brings to Jaguar more than 15 years of experience in global real estate and private equity investing as well as in investment banking. He was previously an investor with ARG Capital in Buenos Aires, where he led business development and fundraising activities in Brazil for Che Lagarto, an ARG portfolio company and a Latin American hospitality company. Prior to ARG, Mr. Wilkinson led the development and acquisitions activities of Saphyr Administradora, a Brazilian retail property development company affiliated with Hemisferio Sul Investimentos, a leading Brazilian real estate private equity fund. In addition to his work in Latin America, Mr. Wilkinson has more than 10 years of investment banking experience at Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank and Societe Generale all based in New York, where he provided financing and mergers and acquisitions advisory services to leading multinational companies, with a specific focus on financing the development and acquisition of real estate assets. Mr. Wilkinson received a B.A. degree from Brigham Young University and studied at the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University.
Prior to joining Jaguar, Ms. Chin served as Accounting Manager at Irving Place Capital, based in New York, where she was responsible for financial accounting and reporting for the $2.7 billion Irving Place Capital Partners III, L.P. as well as the General Partner. Prior to that, Ms. Chin served as a fund accountant for The Blackstone Group’s $20 billion Blackstone Capital Partners V, L.P. and was responsible for coordinating deal fundings, capital calls, distributions, management fee billings, and loan and expense payments. Prior to Blackstone, Ms. Chin was a Financial Services Auditor with a focus on institutional private equity clients at Ernst & Young based in New York. Ms. Chin holds B.A. and B.S. degrees from Binghamton University and received an M.S. from the University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce. Ms. Chin is a Certified Public Accountant.
