Big Changes for SVForum: New CEO, New Office, and New Board Members
SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SVForum, Silicon Valley's leading not-for-profit organization for fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, is delighted to announce new leadership and new offices in 2014. SVForum has moved back to San Jose to new offices in the SVG Innovation Center. At the same time, Interim CEO Susan Lucas-Conwell announced the appointment of Adiba Barney as CEO and the nomination to the Board of three new Board members: Steve Goldberg of Venrock, Jeff Kuhn of FLG Partners, and Kevin Surace of Appvance. Three longtime Board members stepped down: Ann Winblad of Hummer Winblad, Peter Sonsini of NEA, and Jim Koshland of DLA Piper.

Lucas-Conwell re-joined the organization as Interim CEO in mid-2013 to manage ongoing operations and create strategic alignments during the search for a full-time CEO. Adiba Barney joins SVForum from the Silicon Vikings, where she focused on renewing the organization's value proposition in the Nordic and Silicon Valley ecosystem.
