HomeServe Water Service Line Repair Coverage Offered to Park Water Company Customers
DOWNEY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HomeServe USA (HomeServe), a leading provider of home emergency repair service plans, today announced an agreement with Park Water Co. to offer optional Water Service line, Sewer Septic line and Interior Plumbing & Drainage repair service plans to approximately 27,000 homeowners in the Southeast Los Angeles County service area.
“HomeServe is a great resource for people who want to be protected from the expense and hassles of unexpected home repairs. We are glad to be able to offer this solution in partnership to our customers.”
Customers with a HomeServe plan will have access to a Repair Hotline that is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. A local Los Angeles County licensed and insured contractor will then be dispatched right to their homes for repairs. The optional protection plans available to Park Water customers are priced between $5.25 and $10.49 per month. Park Water customers will have the convenience of paying for these plans directly on their water bills.
“HomeServe’s protection plans are a great supplementary offering for our customers,” said Jeanne-Marie Bruno, General Manager and Senior Vice President of Park Water. “Many customers may be quite surprised to find out what they are responsible for when it comes to repairs.”
Bruno went on to say that when faced with a home emergency like a broken water or sewer pipe, costs could run into thousands of dollars. “HomeServe is a great resource for people who want to be protected from the expense and hassles of unexpected home repairs. We are glad to be able to offer this solution in partnership to our customers.”
Park Water joins six other California-based utilities in offering HomeServe plans to their customers. As an established administrator of home emergency repair service plans in the state, HomeServe serves over 200,000 homeowners holding more than 280,000 plans in California. HomeServe works with a network of over 65 independently owned, licensed, and qualified contractors across the state that are dispatched within their local communities to provide the repairs. On average, HomeServe dispatches a contractor to service a California customer every hour of every day.
“California residents in particular should really consider a home emergency repair service plan for their interior and exterior water and sewer lines,” said Tom Rusin, CEO of HomeServe USA. “Leaking or broken pipes means water loss and, in a drought-plagued state, that needs to be managed quickly. Our service plans provide a convenient low cost option for homeowners to consider.”
Park Water’s customers will receive information about the new protection programs in the mail within the week. For more information, contact HomeServe at 1-855-336-2460 or visit www.PWCserviceplans.com.
