Six New “Gamechangers” Deepen Firm’s Bench as Demand Increases for Sophisticated iGaming Counsel
WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ifrah Law, a leading law firm serving the U.S. iGaming industry, announced a significant expansion of its team with the addition of six professionals. The new “Gamechangers” deepen the firm’s bench across iGaming regulation, litigation, compliance and operations. The firm also announced that Michelle Cohen has been appointed as Managing Partner and Sara Dalsheim has been promoted to Counsel.
The firm’s growth comes as the U.S. online gaming industry has reached almost $11B, a nearly 28% increase from the previous year according to FinancialContent.com. Ifrah Law has seen particularly strong demand for the defense of class actions and mass arbitrations, while its iGaming lawyers continue to advise clients on licensing, compliance, commercial and regulatory matters.
“We are growing alongside an industry we helped shape,” said Ifrah Law Founding Member Jeff Ifrah. “This is a highly regulated and closely watched industry that’s seeing an increase in high-stakes legal challenges. Michelle has been central to building our iGaming practice, and is the right leader to guide the firm through its next stage of growth. Promoting Sara and welcoming six new professionals gives our clients an even deeper bench with the experience, judgment and industry knowledge our clients need.”
Ifrah Law’s newest attorneys and staff are:
- Member Sondra Grigsby is an experienced trial lawyer with more than 16 years of experience representing clients in litigation, investigations and arbitrations. Sondra joins Ifrah Law from New York-based litigation boutique Kasowitz LLP.

He previously clerked in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and served six years in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, reaching the rank of Sergeant.
- Paralegal Jessica Hawkins joins from Sodexo, where she served as a senior commercial litigation paralegal. She holds a regulatory compliance certificate from the University of Pennsylvania.
Managing Partner Michelle Cohen said, “I’m honored to lead Ifrah Law at a moment of real momentum for our clients and our firm. Our new professionals bring experience from the courtroom, government, private practice and inside the gaming industry, and Sara’s promotion reflects the talent Ifrah Law continues to develop from within the firm. That combination makes us better equipped to anticipate challenges, develop practical solutions and handle sophisticated matters as our clients and the industry continue to grow.”
A client told Chambers & Partners during the 2026 research cycle that Ifrah Law, “is the only firm dedicated to online gaming in the legal industry, with the largest group of attorneys focused on online gaming. We can get complete coverage for all issues affecting the business and the industry.” The new additions and promotions build on Ifrah Law’s ongoing “Sixth Man Advantage” approach, which highlights the depth of the firm’s iGaming team and its ability to deliver experienced counsel at every point in the online gaming business life cycle.
