Interactive Brokers Expands Digital Asset Offering with Cryptocurrency Staking

Eligible clients can earn cryptocurrency rewards by staking supported digital assets through the Interactive Brokers platform.

GREENWICH, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Interactive Brokers (Nasdaq: IBKR), an automated global broker, today announced the launch of cryptocurrency staking for eligible clients, enabling them to earn rewards on supported digital assets while managing their crypto alongside stocks, options, futures, and more on IBKR’s unified platform. At launch, eligible Interactive Brokers LLC clients can stake Ethereum through the Staking Dashboard in IBKR’s Client Portal, where they can submit stake or unstake requests and monitor pending activity. Rewards, when earned, are credited as additional staked cryptocurrency and can compound while the position remains staked.
