Myomo Appoints Mary-Katherine McClure as Chief Commercial Officer

BURLINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Myomo, Inc. (NYSE American: MYO) ("Myomo" or the "Company"), a wearable medical robotics company that offers increased functionality for those suffering from neurological disorders and upper-limb paralysis, today announced the appointment of Mary-Katherine (“Katie”) McClure as Chief Commercial Officer effective October 12, 2026, succeeding Micah Mitchell, who will be departing following a leadership transition period.

Ms. McClure brings more than 20 years of experience in transforming innovative medical technologies into sustainable commercial growth through strategic leadership, talent development, physician engagement, and enterprise partnerships. Ms. McClure joins Myomo from Inspire Medical Systems (“Inspire” NASDAQ:INSP), a fast-growing medical technology company for whom she was employed since 2018. During her tenure at Inspire, revenues grew from approximately $50 million to nearly $1 billion and, in the territories under her leadership, increased from $2 million to $150 million. Prior to Inspire, Ms. McClure held senior medical device sales roles at Medtronic, Tobii Dynavox and Johnson & Johnson.

“We are excited for Katie to join us as we enter our next phase of growth,” said Paul R. Gudonis, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Myomo. "Her experience building commercial teams, expanding market access, and scaling clinical networks is directly relevant to our strategic plan.”

“My passion is in developing commercial enterprises. The MyoPro is a life-changing product for people suffering from upper-extremity impairment. I’m confident we can build a sustainable nationwide eco-system of orthotics and prosthetics providers, therapists and other healthcare professionals to expand market awareness of and access to the MyoPro,” said Ms. McClure.

Micah Mitchell, the Company’s former Chief Commercial Officer, will remain with the Company until December 23, 2026 in order to facilitate a smooth transition. Mr. Gudonis said, “I would like to thank Micah for his significant contributions to the Company. Micah was instrumental in building our commercial organization to support the creation of our direct provider business, which now represents approximately 70% of our annual revenues. His leadership in growing the company’s revenues from less than $2 million to over $40 million is greatly appreciated, and we wish him continued success in his future endeavors.”

In connection with Ms. McClure’s acceptance of appointment with the Company, effective on the first day of Ms. McClure’s employment, Ms. McClure was granted a time-based equity award, consisting of restricted stock units (“RSU’s”) covering 275,000 shares of the Company’s common stock, of which 100,000 shares will vest on the six (6) month anniversary of her employment start date, 25,000 shares on the first anniversary of her employment start date, 125,000 shares on the second anniversary of her employment start date, and the remainder on the third anniversary of her employment start date, subject to her continued service through each applicable vesting date.

In addition, Ms. McClure was granted a performance-based equity award, consisting of performance-based RSU’s covering 225,000 shares of the Company’s common stock at target. With respect to vesting, 50% of the award will vest based on achievement of certain financial metrics for the year ended December 31, 2029, based on an operating plan approved by the Compensation Committee. The remaining 50% will vest based on the Company’s stock price performance in the fourth quarter of 2029 compared to the fourth quarter of 2026 relative to a group of peer companies. Based on performance against these metrics, Ms. McClure may earn between 0% and 150% of the target amount, up to a maximum of 337,500 shares.

The RSU’s are subject to the terms and conditions of the RSU award agreements covering the grants.

These equity awards were approved by the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company as an inducement material to Ms. McClure’s entering into employment with the Company in reliance on the employment inducement exception under Section 711 of the NYSE American Company Guide.
