  • $50,000 to the American Red Cross to support statewide disaster response and recovery efforts addressing the growing needs of communities.
  • $25,000 to Heart of Indiana United Way to support long-term recovery efforts across East Central Indiana.
  • $25,000 to the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana to help meet increased demand for food assistance and support mobile food distributions in storm-impacted Northwest Indiana communities.

The hygiene kits will be distributed through community organizations serving impacted areas, including Washington Township Adult Center, United Way of Northwest Indiana, Heart of Indiana United Way, Good Samaritan Network, United Way of Whitewater Valley and United Way of Greater Cincinnati.

The disaster response builds on Anthem’s ongoing work with nonprofit and community organizations across Indiana to address immediate needs and support the long-term health and resilience of Hoosier communities.

Anthem will continue working with its community partners to monitor recovery needs and connect impacted individuals and families with available resources.
