MissionSquare expands into personal wealth management with a new suite of investment, advisory, and planning services

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MissionSquare announced today the launch of a new personal wealth management offering, marking a strategic expansion of the firm’s services to help meet the evolving financial needs of individuals and their families. This evolution reinforces MissionSquare’s commitment to delivering comprehensive retirement planning and personal wealth management solutions to support customers at every stage of their financial journey.

MissionSquare’s entry into personal wealth management aligns with its broader strategy to enhance its capabilities and respond to growing demand. Industry data shows that nearly half (47%) of individuals prefer a “one-stop shop” for financial and other needs adjacent to wealth management,1 underscoring the importance of integrated tools that can help support a full spectrum of financial wellness needs.

“We recognize that individuals today want more than retirement guidance; they want a trusted partner who can simplify their full financial lives,” said Andre Robinson, CEO of MissionSquare. “By expanding our solutions with a new personal wealth management offering, we’re delivering on that expectation with modern, convenient tools and personalized support that can help individuals and families move confidently toward their goals.”

Through this launch, MissionSquare is introducing a broad range of investment options and digital solutions available to all individuals through the firm’s newly redesigned corporate website, MissionSquare.com. Specifically, these include:

  • MissionSquare Brokerage Account, offering flexible investment options, such as individual retirement accounts (IRAs) and taxable accounts, providing opportunities to help individuals take charge of their short- and long-term financial goals.
  • MissionSquare Digital Adviser, a robo-adviser, supporting IRAs and taxable, nonqualified investment accounts. MissionSquare Investments will construct the strategies within Digital Adviser using industry-leading investment companies, aligned with an individual’s investment objectives, financial portfolio, and risk tolerance.

To lead this initiative, MissionSquare has appointed Shannon Hogendorn, head of wealth management, as president of its rebranded broker-dealer subsidiary, MissionSquare Wealth Management. To support its growth and expansion into this space, the firm continues to strengthen its team with deep capabilities in retirement and personal wealth management.

“Expanding our core planning services to include personal wealth management solutions reflects our commitment to meeting customers where they are in their financial journeys,” added Hogendorn. “We are building a platform that offers choice, flexibility, and trusted guidance, allowing individuals and their families to take control of their financial futures with confidence.”

MissionSquare Wealth Management is collaborating with Apex Fintech Solutions to leverage Apex’s Ascend Investor product for self-directed and robo-investing. Through the relationship, Apex will deliver the underlying infrastructure to support secure trade execution and asset custody through its subsidiary Apex Clearing Corporation.

As a company rooted in service, investments, and technology, MissionSquare remains focused on helping all individuals and their families build financial security. Throughout 2026 and beyond, the firm will introduce additional service enhancements and solutions, including high-yield savings accounts and expanded IRA support.
