AM Best Managing Director Joins ‘Target Topics’ Podcast to Discuss State of Delegated Underwriting Authority Enterprises Market

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best Managing Director Greg Williams appears as a featured guest on the “Target Topics” podcast to discuss key performance trends in the delegated underwriting authority enterprises (DUAE) market.

A recent Best’s Market Segment Report on the DUAE segment stated that 2025 marked the fifth consecutive year of direct premium growth for managing general agents (MGAs). During the episode, Williams gives an overview of year-end 2025 results for the segment, as well as how market structures are evolving and where the DUAE market is headed. Williams also discusses Best’s Performance Assessments for DUAEs, an industry-first tool that provides a framework for differentiating among DUAEs, which is a blanket term to capture MGAs, coverholders and other similar entities. Williams has been with AM Best since 2006 and is responsible for monitoring and evaluating a myriad of companies that operate in the personal lines, commercial lines and life/annuity segments in the United States and Canada. Williams was also instrumental in the development of the Best’s Performance Assessment for DUAEs.
