Delta Dental of Idaho Awards More Than $77,000 in Oral Health Grants to Idaho Organizations

Funding supports expanded access to dental care, prevention programs, and clinic capacity across Idaho

BOISE, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Delta Dental of Idaho has awarded more than $77,000 in Spring 2026 Oral Health Grants to four Idaho organizations working to expand access to care, strengthen the dental workforce, and improve oral health outcomes in underserved communities across the state.

The Oral Health Grant Program supports initiatives focused on prevention, education, treatment, workforce development, and access to care, with priority given to rural communities and dental health professional shortage areas.

"Oral health is essential to overall health, yet many Idahoans continue to face barriers to receiving timely dental care," said Heather Brown, Senior Director of Oral Health and Community Outreach at Delta Dental of Idaho. "These grants help community organizations expand services, increase capacity, and deliver preventive care where it is needed most."

Spring 2026 grant recipients include:

  • Pocatello Free Clinic — Expanding access to dental care through new treatment tools and supplies.
  • Public Health – Idaho North Central District — Strengthening preventive oral health services through school-based dental sealant programs and community screenings.
  • Terry Reilly Health Services — Increasing dental care capacity through clinic equipment upgrades.
  • Genesis Community Health — Enhancing patient care and clinic operations through new dental equipment.
