“Genesys has never been better positioned to help organizations harness the power of AI to deliver more personalized, efficient and empathetic experiences,” said Nethercutt. “We’re in the early stages of a significant market opportunity, particularly as agentic AI expands what businesses can automate and orchestrate across customer and employee journeys. I’m excited to partner with Mike and our teams to build on our momentum and continue creating value for customers.”

A longtime Genesys leader, Szilagyi has helped define the company’s product direction and AI strategy. In his new role, he will focus on advancing a unified product vision, accelerating innovation and delivering differentiated customer value across the portfolio.
