Centerline Communications Announces Strategic Acquisition of NEC Group

Acquisition adds new capabilities while deepening Centerline’s geographic footprint in the Northeast market

WEST BRIDGEWATER, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Centerline Communications LLC (“Centerline”), a provider of design, build, and maintenance services for critical infrastructure supporting data center, EV charging, fiber, and wireless networks, announced today that it has acquired NEC Group from Pfingsten Partners. Based in Kingston, MA, NEC is a provider of mission-critical infrastructure services focused on the wireless telecommunications, utility infrastructure, and electric vehicle charging sectors. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

This acquisition presents exciting opportunities for continued growth, particularly in supporting newer markets, such as EV-charging and data center services.

The transaction was completed on March 17th, 2026. Lincoln International served as financial advisor to Pfingsten, while Paul Hastings provided legal counsel. Fredrikson & Byron provided legal counsel to Centerline on the transaction.
