Former IBM CTO Sujey Edward Appointed to the Newly-Created Role, Underscoring a Commitment to Accelerating Innovation

TYSONS CORNER, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Integrated Data Services (IDS), part of the Arlington Capital Partners portfolio, announces the appointment of Sujey Edward as Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer. In this role, he will help shape the company’s future by bringing together strategy, technology, and innovation to drive meaningful impact. His focus will be on ensuring IDS’s platform remains best of breed while expanding into new markets and pursuing strategic acquisitions to accelerate growth.

With more than 20 years’ experience in transforming organizations to become innovative and scalable, Sujey most recently served as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Partner at IBM U.S. Federal. In this role, Sujey established the first Federal Consulting CTO Office, and worked alongside government agencies to deliver advanced AI and digital solutions. Previously, he was Chief Technology Officer at Octo, which was acquired during his tenure. As CTO, Sujey assembled top-notch engineering teams to propel Octo into becoming a best-in-class provider of digital transformation solutions.

Throughout his career, Sujey has always challenged his teams to think outside the box but still remain focused on execution. He has driven improvements in efficiency and delivery, always keeping projects moving at pace. As a leader, he focuses on transparency, empowerment, and fostering teamwork.

Sujey has earned industry recognition throughout his career, being nominated for WashingtonExec Pinnacle Award as AI Executive of the Year and FedScoop Best Boss in Fed IT, as well as 2024 winner NEXTGOV / FCW Federal 100.

Previously, Sujey had technical and leadership roles at Salient CRGT, Number Six Software, WeatherBug, Advanced Technology Systems Corporation, and SAIC. Additionally, he advised the Virginia Chamber of Commerce and serves on the advisory board of Virginia Tech Pamplin College of Business Department of Business Information Technology.
