ABN AMRO Boston Common Emerging Markets ESG Equities Fund, Sub-Advised by Boston Common Asset Management, Surpasses $1 Billion in Assets
Institutional capital inflows of approximately $810 million since October 2025 mark a milestone for the Article 8 sustainable emerging markets equity strategy.
BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The ABN AMRO Boston Common Emerging Markets ESG Equities UCITS Fund has surpassed $1 billion in assets under management, ABN AMRO Investment Solutions (AAIS) and Boston Common Asset Management (BCAM) announced today. The milestone was driven primarily by approximately $810 million in institutional inflows since October 2025.
The UCITS fund, classified as Article 8 under the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), provides exposure to EM companies demonstrating strong sustainability characteristics. The fund is sub-advised by BCAM for AAIS and leverages BCAM’s proprietary research, material risk analysis, and active shareholder engagement.
“Surpassing $1 billion in AUM represents a significant validation of investor demand for emerging markets equity solutions that balance growth potential with sustainability considerations,” said Bob Hendriks, Chief Commercial Officer at AAIS. “The scale of institutional capital allocated since October 2025 underscores our clients’ confidence in the strategy’s research-driven approach and Boston Common’s depth of experience in global sustainable investing.”
The fund invests in a concentrated portfolio of 40–60 primarily large- and mid-cap companies across EM. Through fundamental security selection and targeted corporate engagement, the strategy seeks long-term capital appreciation while integrating sustainability considerations into the investment process. The strategy builds on Boston Common’s long-standing experience investing in emerging markets and integrating sustainability analysis into global equity portfolios.
“The growth of this fund reflects the attractiveness of the emerging markets opportunity set and the strength of our EM team, led by portfolio manager Liz Su, CFA,” said John Streur, Senior Managing Director of BCAM. “We are honored to partner with AAIS in delivering this strategy to institutional investors seeking to integrate sustainability within a disciplined equity investment framework.”
The fund is distributed by AAIS and is available to qualified investors in jurisdictions where it is registered.
