Sterlington Strengthens Philadelphia Private Wealth Practice With Key Additions

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sterlington has strengthened its Private Wealth practice in Philadelphia with the addition of associate Roberta Bombaci and estate and fiduciary accountants Sheryl Roth and Robert M. Maxwell, adding further depth to the firm’s multidisciplinary private client team.

The new additions enhance Sterlington’s ability to advise ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals, families, and family offices on sophisticated estate planning, wealth transfer, tax strategy, and estate administration. Roberta Bombaci, who joins Sterlington from Troutman Pepper Locke, advises individuals and families on estate and gift tax planning, trusts and estates, and family business succession.

Joining from Morgan Lewis, Sheryl Roth and Robert M. Maxwell add further depth to the firm as estate and fiduciary accountants. Roth brings more than four decades of experience across fiduciary accounting, estate and trust taxation, and IRS representation. Maxwell brings extensive experience in estate settlement, post‑mortem planning, and fiduciary accountings. He is an adjunct professor at Villanova University School of Law and previously served as chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Probate and Trust Law Section.

“These additions further enhance the depth and breadth of our Private Wealth team in Philadelphia,” said Daniel Cooper, partner and head of Sterlington’s Private Wealth practice. “Having lawyers and fiduciary accountants working side by side allows us to deliver practical, coordinated solutions for our clients’ most complex estate, tax, and succession planning needs.”

“The growth of the Private Wealth team highlights Sterlington’s success in building a market leading private client practice,” said Christopher S. Harrison, managing partner of the firm. “This multidisciplinary approach strengthens our ability to serve ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals, family offices, and closely held businesses at the highest level.”

Sterlington’s Private Wealth team is based in the firm’s Philadelphia office and also serves clients through its New York office.
