Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits Shares Update on Workforce Changes

MIAMI & DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (Southern Glazer’s) – the world’s preeminent distributor of beverage alcohol – today announced a limited workforce reduction as part of a broader effort to align resources with its long-term strategy and evolving market conditions. The reduction affects just over 1% of its employees. These changes are intended to streamline operations and enable continued investment in key strategic initiatives that support the Company’s 2030 Vision.

Impacted employees are being notified and the Company is providing affected employees with career transition support. A core priority was to minimize disruption to frontline commercial and operations personnel who represent Southern Glazer’s to our customers every day. Reductions were primarily in corporate and back office functions. The Company is also making structural changes that will further strengthen its commitment to fine wine. These changes will not impact service to Southern Glazer’s customers or suppliers.
